I have a teen folk dance group that would like to visit Ireland We would be about 30 persons that would include 16 dancers and four musicians, with chaperones.
Our dance program includes Appalachian Mountain region of US dances, 1860's period dances with lovely costumes. We are looking for a group to host us in their homes, providing food, local transportation, and home stays for three or four days. We would hope that some performances could be lined up for us. We would not charge anything for the performances.
We would also be willing to host the group the next year in our homes in Berea, Kentucky, USA. I would appreciate any information on a possible group.
We have the dates June 8 – 19, too many conflicts. We currently have made arrangements with Shannon for the first three days. The other time is open until Monday evening, June 16, when we want to be in Dublin.
